Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Majoring in Psychology and Human Bioscience.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Psychology
- Graduate Certificate in Developmental Psychiatry
- Postgraduate Diploma in Infant and Parent Mental Health
- Masters in Reproductive Medicine
Following university studies in Psychology and Human Bioscience, Cath’s early professional experience was in the areas of psychiatry – Adult, Child and Adolescents. She has also completed Locums at both Royal Children’s Hospital Banksia Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Werribee Mercy Hospital Mother and Baby Unit.
In addition to many years in the psychiatric space, she has also worked in education and corporate settings. Working in roles as a school psychologist and an EAP consultant.
She moved into private practice and often worked concurrently with dual roles. Cath continued to work with infants, children, adolescents and adults but her passion for development, pregnancy and birth had her evolve into a pioneer in the fertility field and reproductive psychology.
She is thoroughly across pregnancy, birth,perinatal and postnatal periods including Matresence, parenting and developmental psychology.
Client continuum of care has always been a priority for Cath and therefore ensures long term psychological therapeutic support even if you have moved out of these chapters in your life.
